Here is an excerpt from Chapter 2 of my new book…Always Improving:Lessons from the samurai

Last month, I had the privilege of publishing my first book on Amazon. It was an amazing experience and one that has fundamentally shifted my thinking around my identity.

For most of my life I never thought of myself as a writer. I almost failed every English class or essay that I ever took and submitted. It was discouraging to say the least.

Then about a year ago something happened. I decided I wanted to just try to write and see what would happen. Turns out that I really enjoy the process of writing and write something every single day now. Sometimes it’s only a few hundred words, other days it can top 1000 words in what seems like only a moment.
